I have a question or two using the 98SE-to-XP upgrade advisor. I do not believe it's very helpful. I decided to try XP. Instead of directly upgrading my 98SE I did a clean install on a different hard drive. The hard drive is a new Western Digital WD400. All went as it should. XP installed and ran fine.

Hi, I have the same question. I did an upgrade from Me to 2000 and it was a disaster. Microsoft told me later that you could not do this. Id/l the upgrade advisor and ran it, and it came up with a couple issues. I'm not too sure what some of the items are that I would have problems with, etc.
